Dr. Jonathan Gold

Dr. Gold received his Medical Degree from McGill University in Montreal. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Toronto General Hospital and his Dermatology residency at McGill and at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Gold did an extensive rotation in Psoriasis at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto and a Clinical Fellowship in Dermatopharmacology at New York University under the leadership of Dr. Jerome Shupack – world renowned for his expertise in Dermatologic therapy.

Dr. Gold is the author of a McGraw Hill book about drugs used in Dermatology, entitled Dermatologic Formulary. He has published several articles in Dermatological journals on a wide variety of topics, and has been quoted in popular magazines such as New York Magazine and Ladies Home Journal.


Dr. Gold is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, New Jersey Dermatologic Society, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Gold participates in many skin cancer screenings, and has given multiple talks to community groups about skin health and skin cancer prevention. He has received the American Academy of Dermatology Community Service Award, American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award, and the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department Community Service Award.

Dr. Gold is listed in Who’s Who in the Health Sciences, and consistently receives the New Jersey Top Docs Award.


Dr. Gold is on staff at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Passaic, New Jersey.
